Excellent Hotel, Staying a night felt a complete serene, peaceful. Really felt revitalize myself. Interior is actually as it is said “where culture meets class”. Tharu Peoples, who are indigenous People of Chitwan, Nepal their home’s interior can be seen. Restaurant had excellent setup and very friendly Associates, so as Front Office Associates. We’ve stayed at Green Park once before as well. Our second stay was just as good as the first. Their property is well maintained (love the greenery). They have friendly staff who’re willing to go the extra mile to keep you happy. We booked an all inclusive package and that too was worth every penny.
I was on a trip with my wife, after all it was my third visit to Chitwan and found out the better place to stay with calmness of nature. No disturbance, calm and quiet with beautifully designed separate buildings and a touch of gardens on the open space. Room was spacious with private balcony, Food was great, we had a great time there.
I am very grateful to the staff who showed everything that the hotel offers during my property visit back in December, 2019. It's in Bagmara, not very far from Sauraha (the Thamel of Chitwan). It's modern and still fresh property, nice accommodation.
We booked the honeymoon suite because we wanted a king bed and it didn’t disappoint. Comfortable bed, clean shower with hot water, nice bathroom, great view from the balcony, and truly helpful professional service. We could easily walk into town, too. The fish sizzler, chicken sizzler, chicken curries, butter naans, momos, and tandoori chicken are all solid food options. The breakfast buffet had some western options and local options, and they constantly had filtered water available. We booked tours through the hotel and had an amazing day in the park. Everyone was so knowledgeable, polite, and funny. I’d visit again if I’m in town!
Green Park Chitwan is a great value. We were pleased with the service at the hotel and restaurant, and we enjoyed several trips into Chitwan itself with their guides. Not really understanding the Chitwan guiding scheme before we got there we scheduled several safaris through several different booking locations and comparatively, the Green Park guides provided us with the best experiences in the park.
The rooms are pleasant, the breakfast was fine. For the price, it was a pleasant surprise.
The only comment I would add is that the location may not be what some people are looking for. It is right on the edge of the park buffer zone and about a kilometer from the river. So it's a 5 minute autorickshaw ride or 20 minute walk into the village or to the river. We enjoyed walking back and forth to the restaurants and activities in the village, great in winter but in the heat of summer it might get old fast.
For 3 or 4 times the price, you can stay at one of the higher end resorts with river views. For the value, great staff and a pleasant location (though not central or riverside) we would return to Green Park over the alternatives.
