Both Kathmandu and Chitwan are awesome tourist destinations in Nepal extremely rich in natural and cultural heritage sites. Kathmandu offers you numerous historic to religious places for sightseeing whereas the majority of visitors came to participate in jungle activities like elephant riding, jungle walking, canoeing, elephant bathing, and jeep safari. The Kathmandu to Chitwan tour will be a 5-day long tour and a wonderful chance to explore nature, people, and cultural significance at its peak.

About Kathmandu and Chitwan:

Many monasteries, temples, and heritage sites can be found in the Kathmandu valley. We can visit historical sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square, which are the most popular tourist destinations in the Kathmandu Valley. Besides, visitors also enjoy visiting the Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, and Swayambhunath stupa. During sightseeing in durbar square areas, visitors can appreciate the beauty of the architecture. Nearby Kathmandu you can also get to explore many trekking trails around Kathmandu.

Similarly, Chitwan is another lovely destination in the southwest corner of Nepal. It is Nepal's fourth-largest city, covering an area of 2,238 km2, and is well-known for its National Park. Chitwan National Park, Nepal's first national park, was established in 1973 and covers an area of 932 km2. Chitwan National Park is an excellent place to see rare species such as one-horned rhinos, gharials, leopards, Bengal tigers, Indian rock pythons, and others. The park was created primarily to protect the One-Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Gharial Crocodile. Likewise, the Tharu community of Chitwan also holds an affluent cultural and traditional beauty you can explore while in Chitwan. So, in Chitwan, you can have an exciting experience of both nature and the generous hospitality of the local indigenous Tharu people. Thus, for someone ready to enjoy a trip full of celebration and cultural brilliance, Chitwan is the best place to be.
